Name Changes  

Current Students 

Graduating students can specify in myZou when you submit your graduation application what first and middle name you would like printed on your diploma. The deadline to make edits in myZou corresponds to the last day to drop classes for the semester. This date can be found in the Academic Calendar 

If you had a legal name change, the Office of the Registrar can assist with updating your record once you submit the Name Change form and required supporting document(s), specified in the Name Change Policy and on the form.  

Former Student Name Change 

If you are ordering a duplicate copy of your diploma, the name on your diploma will be printed as it currently appears in our records. If you have changed your name or would like to verify the name in our records prior to submitting your order, please contact us through our Diploma Service Request form
